Binatone At2000 QuadI bought a set of Doro cordless phone (830R with 3 hand sets) last year for $199 at a sale, and I was pretty happy. The phones were small, fully digital, have lots of useful functions and (most importantly) it is cheap.

But that was last year. DECT phones are now much more popular and are dropping in price everyday. I just saw this deal on Deals Direct AustraliaBinatone AT2000 Quad Pack Cordless Phone for $119.95 + $9.95 delivery.

Binatone A2000 is quite impressive spec wise. Though look a bit more uglier than our Doro, but functionally it does quite a bit more.

Oh. Did I mention that it is only $119.95? Deals Direct Australia claims that it has RRP of $199, but Binatone’s website reveals that RRP is only $179 — but still a considerable saving.

Now, the problem with these new cheap multi-handset cordless phones is — where do we put all these handsets!

Siemens SK65Another deal that caught my eye is Deals Direct Australia’s Siemens SK65 Blackberry phone for $399 + $9 delivery. The cheapest deal elsewhere according to staticICE is $730 — so $399 is really a hard deal to beat.

That would actually be a very cheap Blackberry solution for those business heads (everyone except for us code monkeys at work seems to have one). RIM’s ultra ugly Blackberry 7230 still costs around $500 with a service.

Except I can’t justify myself getting one. No way I am checking work emails outside the office!
