#
tighty waited over an hour for that dragon-wing helmet to be painted.

@scotty’s last-minute submission :) “Being an OzBargainer” pretty much means developing for the OzBargain website in front of computers everyday. Fortunately most gears were bought cheaply thanks to all the deals listed on OzBargain!

Another photo comp entry from @masqie — all the free membership cards she got from OzBargain! Some were from the birthday deals that she has posted:
#
Including free food, free vouchers, free clothes and free accessories. We have one true OzBargainer here.
-
-
@masqie sent her entry in via email. ELMO!!! Oh, and the Transformers Complete Collection at the top-right corner, originally for her husband as a gift, but ended up on eBay sold for $100 :) The whole lot (Elmo + Transformers) costs her only $75 from Madman Yard Sale in May.

@boon_inc submitted his purchases for the photo comp. Here is his way to “save money to pay rent” — loading up boxes of Sanitarium’s Up&Go!

@StrawberryCheesecake has shared with us a very sweet photo — OzBargain spelt out with Lindt Creamy Chocolate and Rochers! Yum.

Our Brisbane OzBarginer Meetup organiser @quop’s photo submission from the day. He reminded me that OzBargain is more than just about good deals and freebies — it’s also the people who share those deals and engage in discussions. Here they are — 26 of them from sunny Queensland meeting up in REAL LIFE (yeah “awkward” for some of us here).

Another one from @aerona — waking up at 6AM for DickSmith sale in Sefton Park SA. Big queue but no stock.
-
-
@aerona posted this in the forum demonstrating a typical OzBargainer’s dietary. Those came from
– Hungry Jack’s free shake and win offers and Whoppers
– KFC vouchers
– Free 6inch subs from Subway
– Pepsi Next from Woolies
More “healthy” stuff to balance out — fish oil and supplements. See the full list in his comment here:

@oanh has surprised her husband with a new black Samsung Galaxy S III from UniqueMobile! Certainly the best Android phone out there at the moment (and we’ll see whether LG’s Nexus 4 will topple that next week). It was $499 delivered last week:
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/82222
On a related news, it’s $497.80 delivered from UniqueMobile today :) Oh the joy of ever dropping Android phone prices.

@daewoo submitted this photo as his “Being an OzBargainer” entry. It’s taken from the same article as @jase13, but he is actually in the queue! 2nd one from the left holding Starburst. He is still using his $2 SGS2, probably waiting for the next Samsung $2 Galaxy S IV deal.

52 polo-shirts make great gifts to family, friends and colleagues, especially when in total they cost about $50 delivered! @mr_alligator shared his big catch at the CoTD polo shirt deals.
#
Except 52 is way too many (and the size and quality is a bit disappointing). So anyone show is interested in a “free” polo shirt and lives near the Strathfield area in Sydney, PM @mr_alligator on OzBargain.

Here is @cassyip showing her toilet paper collection, in true OzBargainer style. Yes these are consumables (where the rate of consumption might depend on your dietary), but in generally it is advised to get as many as your shelf can hold. $0.416/roll seems to be the right buy price.

-

This is from @silverrat23 posted in our forums, also from the DickSmith clearance sale. That’s quite a few $5 games, including the Tony Hawk Ride + Wii Fitness Starter Kit for $1. See his account 6 months ago:

You must be a serious bargain hunter when your username on OzBargain is @deal seeking missile — from the photo I can see the infamous Kogan camera lens mug ($5 delivered pricing error), SGS2, Fujifilm + Sony Cybershot cameras, Iomega portable hard drive and Borderlands 2.
And thanks for the happy birthday message!

Posted in the forums by @Blugok on those Coles Ice Cream freebies — that got subsequently taken down as it was not intended for public. However it still did not stop some OzBargainers from going back to Coles multiples to “persuade” the poor checkout staffs to accept their free coupons. @Blugok happened to have “grabbed 12 ice cream + 7 cookies from multiple stores” with picture here shown 6 of them in the freezer.

From @Moots who was first in the queue at DickSmith’s Clearance Sale. These are what he has collected. Being a card-carrying OzBargainer, that he also claimed cashback from Microsoft for that 250GB Xbox HDD, so the final cost was $5 which he then sold it for $60 on eBay.
-
-
From @gabb6472 via email. “These are 7 (underpants day) of the 41 boosts claimed from multiple stores and multiple days during the boost challenge weeks. They were perfectly stored in esky containing dry ice to maximise goodness. it total we managed to get $266 worth of boost juices between me and my girlfriend.”

Another submission from @Gecko with the Free Meat Lover pizza deal from PizzaHut. Supper after the LAN racing party?

Submission from @Gecko buying 6x Logitech G27 raing wheels from Dicksmith Game Clearance back in April. That would make a great LAN party setup.

Sent in via email. OzBargainer @jase13’s moment of fame when he queued up for the $2 Samsung Galaxy S II last year and got interviewed by Fairfax’s Digital Life.
See this article http://www.smh.com.au/digital-life/mobiles/samsung-ambushes-apples-iphone-4s-launch-in-sydney-20111012-1lk0d.html and his interview starts at around 1:03 of the video.

Sent in via email. From @yashik “Here is my entry. I saw this on a window in a shop in Epping NSW 2121”.
Well, it might show a bargain there but does not really show YOU as an OzBargainer.

From @mrhorseham – 3x Boost juice + Brumby’s muffin birthday deals
