It has been a quiet week for me — I went to Melbourne for a couple of days to attend a wedding, and believe it or not, it was my first time going to Melbourne for non-work related reason. So instead of travelling between airport and office, I actually got to check out a little bit of Melbourne. I am afraid to say, especially as a Sydneysider myself, that Melbourne still offers the best shopping experience in Australia. Now I can understand why someone would fly down there on Friday night, do some shopping on Saturday, and fly back to Sydney before heading back to work on Monday. Personally I wouldn’t do that as I much prefer shopping online.
