Still using your old Telstra fixed phone that ties you to the line? DealsDirect is selling Doro 530 cordless phone for AUD$29 (plus $9 delivery), which sells elsewhere for around $100 (just do a search on Google Australia.
It is even cheaper than the one you rent from Telstra, when you decide to purchase one from them! (Doubt anyone would do it though)

hey dealsdirect, these phones are rubbish, mine is faulty and i have read that many others are too. i have had poor service from doro regarding this matter. i would not recommend these phones in fact i would tell people not to get one. this is just so you know which of your products are indeed quality. cheers
I brought my Doro 530 over 12 months ago now and It has been the best cordless phone I have ever owned (never had one of those $300 ones I’ll admit).
It ‘s simple to use, has easy to use buttons (sitting well proud of the body) has a fantastic range (all the way down to the very back of my garden) and has been reliable.
Its comfortable to hold and to top it off it cost very little from Deals Direct.
