Kmart Weekend Offers – Triax and Schwinn Bikes for $99

Kmart has been running some online specials recently, where you get good discount coupons but online available online to their email subscribers. The top deal today — thanks to cacbm who submitted it — is for this weekend. You need to print out the PDF file, and bring it to your local Kmart for further discount on already discounted items.

For this week, you get

Triax men’s 21 speed ‘Crimson’ road bike for $99 (store price $149.95), or
Schwinn women’s 26″ ‘Ranger’ mountain bike for $99 (store price $186.95), or

Well. Summer is coming soon so I guess it’s about time to get out and ride a bike. I was hoping to be able to ride to work, so I can do some exercise while save on bus tickets every week. Actually I have been saying that for years but have never realised that hope… I’ll see how it goes this year.

Thanks to Shan for posting this — Kmart Storewide 15% off 29-31 August when you use the attached flyer. It includes Kmart Tyre & Auto Service, but does not include LCD TV’s, iPods, iTunes, games consoles, recharge, Gift Cards & cigarette products.

From the file name I believe it might be one of those Wesfarmers team member discount voucher. That means it’s 15% on top of whatever is already on special this weekend. Limit one per customer. You will need to print out the PDF file, and then present this flyer to get the discount.

You can check out this weekend’s catalogue here. Men’s clothing and footwear is already 20-30% off — add 15% to that! There are plenty of bargains to be found when you scan through the catalogue + 15% off.

Kmart/Big W/Target Toy Sale 2008 – Get Ready!

At church last Sunday and in one of the sermon illustrations, our pastor joking said that one of the reason to have children is that you can now find the excuse to buy the toys you always wanted. Yes for those of us with kids we all know how TRUE this statement is! Too bad that I kept on asking my daughter whether she is interested in a Nintendo Wii, but at her age (turning 4 in a few days) she is more interested in a bicycle than a Wii…

Nevertheless, the annual Toy Sale at Kmart, Big W and Target can still get me very excited. Every year they promised to be bigger and better, and we can definitely see that in the new websites they have bought out!

Kmart Super Toy Sale

Kmart now has a direct link to their new toy sale site — Where Good Times Start that currently has nothing but two flash games. The bold notice at the top reminding us how many days left before the super toy sale starts on 3^rd of July, and the sale will run for 2 weeks.

Never mind the music. The catalogue is not even available online yet, but you do get an opportunity to surrender your email address for the latest updates. But wow — a dedicated website for the toy sale. This gotta to be big.

Big W Toy Sale

Big W also has a flash animation on their home page (with a fancy count down timer) that links to their Toy Sale page. Not as fancy as Kmart’s (where’s my flash game to win prizes?!) but at least they already have their Toy Sale catalogue on their Lasoo powered site — all 132 pages of it! I actually loves Lasoo powered catalogue sites, because

Lasoo allows you to rebrand and sits on your own sub-domain, which makes categorisation easier at OzBargain (we group deals by linked URL)
Search works. If someone said, “hey that Wii in the latest Big W Toy Sale is cheap”, you won’t need to flip through all 132 pages to find it.
Individual product pages with images + selectable text. Very important for submitting to OzBargain.

Target Toy Sale

Target toy sale always happens after both Big W and Target. Great timing as well — as it’s very close to my wife’s birthday. Let me see what sort of toy should I get for ~~myself~~, hmm my wife I mean.

Starts on 24 July but the catalogue won’t be available until the end of this month, and again email address is needed to get a sneak preview.

I am sure a lot of highlights will be picked up by the OzBargain members and will be posted on our community site over the next week or two. Where do you plan to do your toy shopping?

Here is one great deal that many of you will be interested in — Kmart 15% Off for Staff and Family from Friday 7 December to Sunday 9 December! Thanks to chrisg for posting it on OzBargain!

There are some exceptions that you can’t get 15% off. From the voucher:

Kmart Toy Sale — It is Here!

Over the last couple of days many visitors have landed on this blog when they searched Kmart Toy Sale on Google, where last year’s sale page was ranked on the first page. I checked Kmart’s website earlier this morning and it was still showing last week’s catalogue. I have just checked again and it is now showing the Kmart Toy Sale!

Sale starts on 5 July and ends on 11 July.

There are 56 pages and I think it would take me a while to digest, which I got plenty of time as the sale won’t start until Thursday. I usually just check the game console price as I do track them, and there are some nice bundles for Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3 (not that I am allowed to buy any).

Kmart‘s latest catalogue is out!

While I posted on OzBargain about their 15% off computers and notebooks sale (it’s on page 9), but who buys computers from Kmart anyway? Meanwhile I also see that they have great deals on strollers and baby seats, as well as infant clothing. Great to prepare the 2nd one of ours coming :)

Nintendo Wii for $388 from both Kmart and BigW

Who doesn’t want a Nintendo Wii? It’s launching today in Australia at mid-night (in 30 minutes) — no official one, but retailers will run their own. Most shops will sell you one for $399, but you can get one for $388 from Kmart, from their latest catalogue. Sale starts on 7 December 2006.

I’ve checked DoorOne.com.au, and it seems to be the cheapest. It comes with the console + one Wii remote.

Apparently Big W is also doing the same, with new Wii selling for $388. It’s a fun little console focusing on the game playability. Moreover, it will be a lot cheaper than the year-old Xbox 360 and the up-coming PlayStation 3.

Now, back to Kmart’s latest catalogue, DJS also reported a $99 value Maglite value pack is now selling for $39.95. Great deal — it will probably be the only torch light you’ll ever need.
