Last week was cheap USB drives, and this week OzBargain has been flooded with cheap 2.5″ portable hard disks.

These portable drives are great for transporting large files (huge bandwidth between your and your friend’s computers, when you think about it). Great for backing up your Linux ISO as well :)
Recently I bought a 1TB external hard drive, with capability to plug into LCD panel TV to watch DIVX videos etc etc, for about 280 bucks from IT Box. It was a special. Darn good value.
Seagate brand hard drive. Came with its own remote control etc.
