1.83Ghz for $3,169 and 2.0Ghz for $3,959 are cheaper than buying from Apple Store. However a few catches:
- This is pre-order, although MacBook Pro appears to be shipping already.
- You need to pay 20% deposit for their deal.
- Not way to find out delivery cost without creating an account.
Still not as cheap as Getmac, but they do have a price matching policy. Moreover they double your RAM for MacBook Pro pre-orders.
Another cheap(er) price to buy for those of us who can’t have the EDU discount.

I don’t think there is enough supply of MacBook Pro in Australia. I’ve called a few apple resellers and most of them told me that I need to pre-order in order to get a MacBook Pro.
Even the estimated ship on Getmac’s website says: 2-4 days. Quoting from Getmac’s website:
If it is “ESTIMATED SHIP: 2-4 Days” this means that we are waiting on a shipment from Apple and can not be certain of its arrival. Please be patient as we are doing our best to get the products delivered asap.
