Saw the Harvey Norman ads on Southern Courier yesterday, selling Compaq Presario V2417AU for merely AUD$796, after $200 cash back from Compaq/HP. Apparently this cash back lasts until 31st January by checking different resellers.

Well, try calling HP/Compaq. Maybe they reject your claim – you didn’t fulfil one of their 5987
‘terms and conditions’. Or maybe you’re just about to receive your dosh. They do say somewhere
‘allow 75 days’. You say you bought it in January. January + 75 days = April sometime. Best of
luck! I’m about to claim mine now, so I guess I won’t hear from them till early July!
