Yahoo! is offering $2.99/yr again, but this time only for the 1st year.
Actually Yahoo does not appear to offer that $2.99 domain deal at the moment. Moreover, it is only offered to first time customers.
iPoweWeb still has $2.95 for the first year, but it has track record as dodgy reseller.
Yes, you are right. At first I thought “NEW customers” means “NOT domain transfer”, but I finally find out that it means “You have never bought a domain name from Yahoo!”
When I check out, Yahoo! wants to charge me $9.95 rather than $2.99, because it regards me as an OLD customer.
So now where can I find the best deal for registering a new domain name? Thanks in advance!
