10% Off Discount from Cheap Memory
Cheap Memory, as its name has suggested, is an Australian shop that sells cheap memory (surprise!), which includes RAM sticks in your computer, memory cards and solid state USB keys. They have a 10% off special this week — basically you get to say No to Johnny’s GST (in fact they do list ex-GST price next to their regular prices). Use the following coupon/discount code when you check out:
DEC1017
They also have a separate Christmas special:
- Free 256Mb USB key when you spend $110 or more.
- Free 512Mb USB key when you spend $165 or more.
- Free 1024Mb USB key when you spend $220 or more.
With the following discount/coupon code:
Xmasfreeusb
Do note that the coupon code is case-sensitive.

Scott, while 10% is a great saving, and their memory prices are cheaper than many retail stores, they seem to be a 10%+ the prices at MSY for similar products (and that’s after the discount is given)
So a cheaper alternative would be http://www.msy.com.au (You can download a price list in PDF)
Maybe this would be a good site to have listed
Cheers
I agree that MSY is probably one of the cheapest place to get PC parts, however I personally cannot stand the “shopping experience” when I visit their online shop. Oh wait, what online shop? They can’t even do delivery :)
Yes fully agree about the online shopping experience (need to buy thru QLD store) but is the blog totally about online shopping - or bargains everywhere?
Yes it is about bargains everywhere :)
Sorry it was just my little rant on MSY. I have actually purchased from them before, and MSY is surely one of the cheapest (if not THE cheapest) for PC parts in Australia. But I seldom buy from them now these days for various reasons. Inconvenience is one, also the level of service.
I think I shall applause the staticICE guys, who have actually managed to scrap MSY’s price list from their HTML pages :)
