Saw their ads on Southern Courier this week — Durian for $1.99/kg from Harris Farm — this Sunday (9 Oct 2005) only! Probably one of the cheapest in the Eastern Suburbs, if you go to the one in Eastgate, Bondi Junction.
It describes:
Durians are best eaten fresh; the richness of the flesh makes an excellent foil for hot spicy food like curries & chilli dishes!
No mention of its distinct smell though… I myself is not a durian fan, but I am sure many from FOCUS would be interested.

You should let Zhang Lao know. He likes Durian. Pls do not mention my name or else Zhang Lao Nian will kill me!! :p
Zhang Lao Nian doesn’t like the smell…
May be Zhang Lao and I can have a Durian party together, haven’t tasted one for a while…
Durian party?? *gag*gag*
Tell you something, in Malaysia you can get durians for as low as RM0.50 or around US$0.26 each.
Sometimes they get too cheap that the farmers will just destroy the durians rather than selling
Sure. This entry is really for the poor Malaysians getting stuck here in Australia craving for the smelly durians :)
